Drivers advised to plan alternative routes or use detour, police say.

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ - Motorists who travel on Hilliard Boulevard in Manahawkin will have to make a few changes starting on Monday, Oct. 16.
The Ocean County Road Department will be milling and paving Hilliard Boulevard between Stafford Avenue and East Bay Avenue. Work will start at 7 a.m. and run through 5 p.m. The project is expected to last two weeks.
You won't be able to access Hilliard from Route 9 and will have to use the detour from Parker Street to East Bay Avenue, according to the Stafford Township Police Department's Facebook page.
