Stafford Township Patrolman Saves Pet Dog From Drowning
Patrolman Michael Morrin rescued Reese, a German shepherd, after she fell into a lagoon.

MANAHAWKIN, NJ - A Stafford Township police office didn't hesitate when he received a call about a family dog that fell into a Beach Haven West lagoon recently, according to the police department's Facebook page.
Reese, a German shepherd, took a tumble into the lagoon and couldn't get out. When Officer Michael Morrin responded to the call, he promptly jumped into the water and brought the pup back to safety.
Reese is one of two family dogs who are inseparable.

"The wet shepherd was happy to be saved, her brother Rudy was equally happy to his sister back on dry land and our wet Officer Morrin was eventually happy when he was able to clean up and get back into a dry uniform!" the post states.
