Stolen Handgun Seized At Southern Ocean Medical Center: Police
Stafford Township police found a Trenton man was in possession of a stolen handgun at Southern Ocean Medical Center on Monday evening.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Stafford Township police found a man was in possession of a stolen handgun at Southern Ocean Medical Center on Monday evening, police said.
Stafford Township police responded to Southern Ocean Medical Center at 5:50 p.m. after officers were alerted of an individual in possession of a handgun.
An investigation determined that Robert L. Goldware, 29, of Trenton, was in possession of a stolen handgun from Folcroft, Pennsylvania, and a large capacity magazine, authorities said.

Police found Goldware had an outstanding warrant out of Westampton Township, New Jersey for robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to police.
Goldware was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon (second-degree), possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose (second-degree), certain persons not to possess weapons (second-degree), receiving stolen property (third-degree) and possession of prohibited weapons and devices (fourth-degree).

Goldware was lodged in Ocean County Jail pending an appearance in Ocean County Superior Court.
Patrolman Sean Kenny was the investigating officer, assisted by Detective Erik Smithman.
