Take Advantage Of Shop Small Saturday And More On LBI Today

A number of area businesses are offering discounts and extended hours for the holiday season

LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ - It's not just small business Saturday in the Southern Ocean County area anymore.

Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce is kicking off the "Redefined Shopping Card" program today to promote local businesses that have extended hours and services for the holiday season, said Lori Pepenella

Some of the offerings included ChowderFest stocking packs, which features a vintage T-shirt, a Chowderfest beer mug with a 30th anniversary gift certificate, all for $35. Other businesses are offering unique store promotions and event attendance.

Consider giving gift cards for favorite local restaurants, shops, lessons and services as presents.

The Southern Ocean Visitor Center will be open on November 25 with Holidays Redefined Shopping Cards, Chowderfest Stocking packs for purchase for $35 , and WJRZ on site with giveaways from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, click here.
