Teen Arrested for Underage Drinking and Having a Weapon in Barnegat
Officers took the 18-year-old into custody Saturday night.
Police arrested a Tuckerton teenager Saturday night for possession of a switchblade knife and alcoholic beverages, according to Barnegat police.
Charles Jordan, 18, was arrested by Patrolman Alex Hoffman at approximately 8:52 p.m. after police responded to a report of a bonfire and underage drinking in the Ocean Acres area. Police located the bonfire, finding alcohol and several people.
Jordan was released pending a court date.
