Traffic Delays Expected With Stafford Pump Station Work

STAFFORD, NJ — Drivers can expect delays on East Bay Avenue on Thursday due to construction at the pump station.

Police said that JVS Industries will be working from about 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 21 near Mill Creek Road.

The westbound lane of Bay Avenue will be closed just before the intersection of Mill Creek Road to complete their work. Eastbound will remain open and traffic will alternate by police officers on site.

"This may cause delays throughout the day, if possible, use an alternate route," police said.

However, drivers trying to get to Lucky's Bed and Biscuit will be able to access the parking lot without any issue, police said.
