STAFFORD, NJ — It may be cold outside with snow still blanketing the ground, but it means there's no better time to look forward to the warmth of spring, and Stafford Recreation's annual trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show.

Join the department for a bus trip to see the show, in its 195th year, on March 6.

This year's theme is "United by Flowers," celebrating "the colorful community that comes together to share in their love of gardening, flowers, and plants, and the impact they make on our lives all year round," according to a Pennsylvania Horticultural Society news release.

"This year's theme, 'United by Flowers,' focuses on coming together and we are excited to be showing all the ways that we build community with one another. From exhibits that show off the celebratory spaces that unite us to offering a series of experiences that are best when done together, there is something for every visitor to share with their loved ones at the Flower Show,” said PHS's creative director and vice president of the Flower Show, Seth Pearsoll.

Tickets with Stafford Recreation cost $85 and include entry to the show and deluxe motor coach transportation. It departs Bay Avenue Community Center at 10 a.m. and returns to the same place at 8 p.m. Limited seats are available.
