Waretown Fire Department To Conduct Training Session On Saturday
Training will occur between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.

OCEAN TOWNSHIP - Don't be alarmed if you see smoke and fire engines on several streets in the township on Saturday.
The Waretown Fire Department will conduct a training drill between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. at a residence on Illinois Avenue and Adriatic Avenue between Delaware Avenue and Kennedy Drive, according to the police department's Facebook page.
"The training will involve several pieces of apparatus, which will be positioned as out of the way as possible during the time period," Fire Chief Brent Cunningham said. "Firefighters will be deploying hose lines and ladders, and smoke may be seen coming from the residence, but there will be NO active fire."
