Yeoman Road Paving Postponed Due To Air Quality, Stafford Says
Paving of the road began earlier this week, but has been suspended due to poor air quality.
STAFFORD, NJ — Yeoman Road paving began earlier this week, but has been suspended until next week due to poor air quality, officials said.
The paving of the road between Dolphin Road and Nautilus Drive, part of the Ocean County Schedule C Program, has been suspended until June 12.
Air quality has reached "unhealthy" levels statewide, according to environmental officials.

As of Thursday afternoon, air quality in Stafford has reached the unhealthy level. A Code Red Air Quality Alert was issued across the state by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and will remain in place until Friday at 11:59 p.m.
