Young Boy Finds Missing Engagement Ring On Beach Haven Beach
The ring had been missing since September, police say

BEACH HAVEN, NJ - The young boy was in the right place at the right time.
Luca and his family were on the beach having their pictures taken when he spotted something sparkling in the sand. It turns out the sparkle was a very expensive and meaningful engagement ring that someone reported lost back in September on the same beach, according to the Beach Haven Police Department's Facebook page.
"The Beach Haven Police Department would like to thank Luca for going out of his way to do the right thing," the post states. "Luca knew what he had to do and that was turn it into the Beach Haven Police Department".

The ring was positively identified by the ecstatic owner, who couldn't thank the boy enough.
Luca and his father Vinny posed for a picture with the found ring and Luca's new Beach Haven Police Department badge. Police did not release their last names or the name of the ring's owner.
