2 Bayville Eateries Named 'Best You've Never Heard Of'

BERKELEY, NJ — There are some great places to eat in Bayville. And two local restaurants are some of the best spots at the Jersey Shore that fly under-the-radar, according to a new report.

In the recent NJ.com article outlining the 33 best Jersey Shore restaurants "you've probably never heard of," two popular spots made the list: Grits & Grace and Senza Cucina.

Grits & Grace has been named multiple times in food rankings at NJ.com, which has sung the praises of the diner's breakfast sandwiches and called it one of the best breakfast spots in the state, period. The best sandwich, according to NJ.com, is the Jersey Devil - "a bewitching blend of pork roll, sliced tomato, cherry peppers, eggs and hot pepper jack cheese."

Senza Cucina, NJ.com writes, is "practically hidden in a strip mall that doesn't do the same old predicable Italian fare." The report highlights the restaurant's pasta dishes and particularly the meatballs, which they previously named among the best in the state.

"The surroundings may be ordinary, but there's some mighty fine food coming out of the kitchen at Senza Cucina," the report said.
