Little Abby is still missing as of Thursday night.

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Abby, a 21-year-old dog who got out from her home near Bahama Drive in Holiday City is missing and her heartbroken family is hoping someone has seen her.
Abby cannot see or hear very well, said Janet DellaFave, a neighbor of Abby's owner said on Facebook.
Matt Geissinger of Lost Dogs in Ocean County said his volunteers and H-K9 Search & Rescue Lost Dog Recovery Team are helping to look for Abby.

"It's very upsetting to all of us to see a dog that old wondering the streets," he said. "Her owners are truly devastated and no mater how hard we look none of us will rest until Abby’s home."
Volunteers from both rescue groups were out all day Thursday looking for the little dog.

"We look for a lot of dogs and we want to help anyone that asks our help, but some hit closer to home then others and this is one of them, Geissinger said.
They did get a report of a sighting and search dogs did pick up a strong scent, but later lost it, Geissinger said.
The search area has been expanded, he said.
"It's a rough terrain to search, lots of railroad tracks, marshy and uneven ground with a hundred of areas for a small dog to hide in," Geissinger said. "It's a rough terrain to search, lots of railroad tracks, marshy and uneven ground with a hundred of areas for a small dog to hide in. We knocked on a lot of doors and talked to a lot of people that are now aware that Abby is missing and will keep their eyes open"
Geissinger asks that anyone who is looking for Abby please stay out of the woods, especially if they have a dog.
"It will make if more difficult for the search dogs to track Abby's scent," he said.
