Aqua Reporting Three Water Main Breaks in Berkeley, Mayor Says

Partial water service should be restored soon, crews working on breaks.

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - If you have low water pressure or no water pressure, you are not alone.

Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr. says Aqua New Jersey is reporting three separate breaks in town.

"They are in the process of repairing them," the mayor said. "Partial water service should be restored within the hour."
From Aqua: Outage: There are multiple street leaks throughout Bayville. There are too many streets to list, but as of now the follow streets will be affected by emergency water repair and water is off: Millcreek, Dockage, Sylvan Lake Blvd., Pheasant Ave., RT 9 from 120 to 256, Mallard, Raymond and the WaWa on RT 9 and possibly surrounding streets .Main Break water is off for emergency main repair. Water may be off until 4 p.m. or longer, depending on repair. Once water is turned back on customers may experience low water pressure, discolored water or air in the lines. Please run the COLD water until the water runs normal/clear again.
