This Bayville BBQ Spot Was Named One Of The Best In NJ

BERKELEY, NJ — When thinking of delicious barbecue most people likely don't think of the Garden State, but there's still plenty of options for BBQ fans in New Jersey.

Website Best of NJ put together a list of the best BBQ restaurants in New Jersey, and it features a local Bayville spot.

Smokies Craft BBQ is one of NJ's best barbecue eateries, according to Best of NJ.

"Smokies is the result of 10 years of testing and perfecting BBQ recipes by Owner Dave Kaminski and family," the website wrote.

Since its opening in 2021, Smokies has quickly become a local favorite, even being voted "Best of the Best in BBQ" in 2022 by Asbury Park Press readers.

Everything is made in-house, according to the Smokies website, with homemade seasonings and sauces, and no processed meats or premade foods.

"The extensive menu includes traditional dishes such as ribs, brisket, chicken, turkey, and pulled pork as a platter or sandwich," Best of NJ wrote. "Other favorites include wings, loaded fries, burgers, crispy chicken sandwiches, and cheesesteaks."

And with 19 different sauces and rubs to choose from, every visit can bring something new.

Smokies also offers catering throughout Ocean County, so they can supply your next event as well.

Smokies Craft BBQ is located at 333 Atlantic City Blvd.
