Bayville Man One Of Two Charged With Stealing 55-Inch Television
Clifton Wells III of Bayville Charged In Walmart theft of television

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Toms River police recently arrested two men, including one from Bayville, in connection with a television theft from Walmart earlier this month.
Clifton Wells III, 36, Bayville, and Jason Mayer, 35, of Lakehurst were both arrested as a result of tips police received after photos of one man were shared on social media and by news outlets, said Ralph Stocco, spokesman for the Toms River Police Department.
Wells and Mayer were both charged with theft in the Jan. 11 incident, where a 55-inch Samsung TV was carried out of the Walmart without having been paid for, Stocco said.
