Hair Fantasy has been giving free makeovers to anyone who struggled during the pandemic. And the salon's owner says the offer still stands.
BERKELEY, NJ — Hair Fantasy in Bayville has been providing free makeovers to anyone who has struggled over the past year. And the salon's owner wants people to know that the offer still stands.
Since March, owner Michele Fury has been donating a portion of her sales to cover the cost of hair dye and makeup for anyone who has fallen on hard times.
Hair Fantasy aims to give free makeovers to two people each month.

Fury is paying it forward after her own salon struggled throughout the pandemic amid closures and capacity restrictions.
"I went through a lot in my life and the one thing that would make me feel good is if someone did my hair," Fury told Patch. "You feel better, you want to push forward. When you look good, you feel good and it does help."
