Bayville Store Will Celebrate Free Comic Book Day 2021
Conquest Comics in Bayville is gearing up for Free Comic Book Day on Saturday after it was canceled last year due to the pandemic.

BERKELEY, NJ — After being canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, Free Comic Book Day is back for 2021. And a local comic shop in Bayville plans to join the festivities.
Conquest Comics in Bayville will be among the stores across the U.S. participating on Saturday, Aug. 14. Conquest Comics is located at 657 Route 9.
One of the store's owners, Pedro Pereira, said the annual celebration typically attracts the “whole spectrum” of comic book lovers from hardcore fans to casual readers.

Normally held on the first Saturday in May, this year's Free Comic Book Day marks the 20th anniversary of the now-ubiquitous event, which strives to raise awareness about the medium and bring new fans into the fold.

We know comic book retailers are looking forward to treating everyone to a day of fun and discovery, so we hope fans will be able to safely visit their comic shops to celebrate."
