Beachwood Dog Missing For 2 Weeks Found Alive In Johnson's Pit
11-year-old Sadie was found on the Berkeley side of the pit

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - The founder of a dog rescue group says its a "miracle" that an 11-year-old dog dog missing from Beachwood for two weeks was found on Tuesday.
Sadie had been missing since Jan. 25. The owner contacted Lost Dogs Search and Rescue, who began searching for the missing dog.
"She popped out of the woods today," said co-founder Matt Geissinger. "At 11 years old, it's a miracle she is alive."

Sadie was tired, hungry and thin when she was found, Geissinger said.
"She has to be seen by a vet," he said. "Being 11 years old is tough to begin with, but surviving for two weeks on her own I'm sure she will need some medical attention. She lost a lot of weight and had an infection in one eye, but she did appear to be doing good."
