Berkeley Celebrates National Library Week

April 6 through 12 is National Library Week, with the theme "Drawn to the Library."

BERKELEY, NJ — Township officials took time to celebrate and honor the Ocean County Library Berkeley Branch ahead of National Library Week, April 6 through 12.

"Libraries spark creativity, fuel imagination, inspire lifelong learning, offering a space where individuals of all ages can explore new ideas and be drawn to new possibilities," Mayor John Bacchione read a proclamation at the latest Township Council meeting.

This year's theme is "Drawn to the Library."

Librarian Jennifer Grazioso was present to accept the proclamation.

"During this week, I encourage all residents to visit their library, explore its resources and celebrate all the ways the library draws us together as a community," Bacchione said.
