Berkeley Fire Companies Quickly Extinguish Blaze in Vacant House
Fire broke out in the home in the Mill Creek section of Bayville on Sunday afternoon.

BAYVILLE, NJ - No one was injured in a structural fire that broke out in a Holly Street house in the Mill Creek section shortly before noon on Sunday, according to a post on the Bayville Volunteer Fire Department's Facebook page.
When firefighters arrived, they found the two-story building had fire showing on the second floor. The blaze was quickly extinguished the first engine on the scene, the post states.
"This is the 3rd structure fire in 2 weeks as well as a car fire in Sylvan Lakes earlier this week as well as 33 jobs for the year," according to the fire department's Facebook page. "The cold weather and recent storms have kept us busier than normal."
