Berkeley Man Among Five Arrested In Massive Drug Sting
Authorities found a large drug distribution network in South Toms River

SOUTH TOMS RIVER, NJ - A Berkeley Township man was one of four arrested after an investigation involving a large heroin, fentanyl and cocaine distribution network, authorities said.
The arrests came after a two-month investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Monmouth Ocean HIDTA Task Force, New Jersey State Police, and the Toms River, Berkeley and South Toms River police departments, according to a release from the Toms River Police Department.
The agencies conducted three search warrants in Toms River, South Toms River and Berkeley Township in December 2017.

These raids led to the arrests of;
Yolonda Richardson, 37, South Main Street, South Toms River.
Kimberly Tolbert, 51, Washington Street, Toms River.
Fatinah Dillard, 25, Washington Street, Toms River.
Jamal Barney, 19, 10th Street, Berkeley Township.
The search warrants stemmed from an investigation involving fentanyl distribution by Philip Tarver, 34, Toms River.

Tarver was not present at the time of the search warrants, but a no-bail warrant was issued for his arrest. Brick Township police arrested Tarver on Feb. 8. He was found with $35,000 worth of heroin, two high-capacity ammunition magazines and more than 600 rounds of ammunition.
Richardson was charged with first-degree possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, first- degree maintaining a heroin manufacturing facility, possession of cocaine and crack cocaine and possession of marijuana.
Tarver, Tolbert and Dillard were charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin/fentanyl, possession of a firearm during a CDS offense and possession of MDMA. Barney was charged with possession of heroin and possession of marijuana.
