Berkeley Police Charge Lanoka Harbor Woman With Drunk Driving After Route 9 Crash
Sandra Baricevic rear-ended a vehicle on Route 9 and didn't stop.

Berkeley police recently arrested a Lanoka Harbor woman and charged her with drunk driving after she rear-ended a vehicle on Route 9 North on Aug. 29, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
Patrolmen Edward LaGreca and Michael Ptaszenski responded to the the area near Diesel's Subs at 1:11 p.m. The victim told police he was stopped at the light, waiting to make a left when a SUV struck the back of his vehicle and continued north on Route 9, the chief said.
The officers found the SUV with extensive front end damage in the parking lot of Keller Williams Realty. Further investigation found that the driver, Sandra Baricevic, 63, Plimsoll Point, Lanoka Harbor was driving under influence, DiMichele said.

She was taken to police headquarters and processed. Her vehicle was impounded pursuant to John's Law, the chief said.
