Berkeley Police Investigating Attempted Burglary At Church In Manitou Park
Police found pry marks on door of Jerusalem Zion Church, chief said.

Berkeley Township police are investigating an attempted burglary at the Jerusalem Zion Church on Third Avenue in the Manitou Park section of the township recently, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
Patrolman Robert Flanegan responded to the church at 3:55 p.m. on Feb. 5 on an attempted burglary report. He spoke with a church representative who told him that when she arrived at the church on Jan. 29, she noticed the front door was open.
A contractor was called and noticed there were pry marks on the door, which verified the door was forced open. No times were reported missing from the church, DiMichele said.
