Berkeley Police Make Three Narcan Saves, All On The Same Day, Two In Holiday City
One man was found overdosing on a Holiday City sidewalk, police chief says.

Berkeley Township police recently responded to three reports of drug overdoses all on the same day, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichel said.
Two of the cases occurred in Holiday City. One man was overdosing on a sidewalk in the senior community, the chief said.
The incidents all occurred on July 27.

The first came at 3:33 a.m., when Lt. Michael Roth and Patrolmen David Burke, Edward LaGreca and Timothy Pizzella responded to a Longview Dr. residence for a report of an overdose. The person was exhibiting signs of an overdose and police administered Narcan. The victim as taken to Community Medical Center by the Berkeley Township First Aid Squad and MONOC paramedics for more treatment.
The second call came at 1:53 p.m., when Patrolmen Christopher Elliott and Don Rowley responded to La Dunette Drive in Holiday City on a report of an unconscious male in the street. When they arrived, the man was located on the sidewalk and showing signs of an opiate overdose. The officers administered Narcan. The man was taken to Community Medical Center by the Holiday City First Aid squad and MONOC paramedics.

The third call came at 11:13 p.m., when Patrolmen Timothy Pizzella and Patrick Coletti responded to a Barbados Drive North home in Holiday City on an overdose report. When they arrived, the person was showing signs of an opiate overdose and was administered Narcan. The victim was taken to Community Medical Center by MONOC paramedics.
