'Breaking The Silence On Sexual Violence' Seminar Coming Up
The event will be held at the Bay Avenue Community Center in Manahawkin on Jan. 30

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ - The issue of sexual violence in the media will be the topic of the "Breaking the Silence of Sexual Violence," a seminar coming up on Jan. 30 at the Bay Avenue Community Center in Manahawkin.
The seminar is sponsored the St. Francis Counseling Service's Sexual Abuse and Assault Prevention program, Stafford Township police, Stockton University police and Stockton University to address the high profile of sexual violence in the media.
The event will focus on how the media influences sexual violence and your rights dealing with sexual violence and the law. It gets underway at 6 p.m. and will run until 8 p.m.

The presentation will be followed by an open panel discussion with the Sexual Assault Response Team and police.
