Car Bursts Into Flames In Berkeley After Hitting Snowbank
No one was injured in the incident, car apparently overheated, police chief said.

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - A car that caught on fire on Pheasant Drive recently apparently overheated after striking a snow bank, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
Berkeley police responded to the area on a fire call at 5:15 p.m. on Jan. 8. When Patrolman Nicholas Bondulich arrived, he found a car on fire in the roadway. The fire was quickly extinguished by the Bayville Volunteer Fire Department, the chief said.
"Preliminary investigation revealed that the fire was caused by the car having struck a snow bank and then overheating," DiMichele said.

No injuries were reported and the car was towed from the scene, she said.
