Central Regional Baseball Opening Day On Saturday

Before the team takes on Toms River South, the newly redone baseball field will have its ribbon cutting ceremony.

BERKELEY, NJ — Saturday, April 2 is Central Regional Baseball's 2022 opening day.

Before the Varsity Golden Eagles take on Toms River High School South, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Al Kunzman Field at Al Leiter Ballpark, thanks to a generous donation by alum and former professional baseball player Al Leiter.

The ceremony will be at 12:30 p.m. and the game will immediately follow at 1 p.m. All are invited to attend.
