Central Regional, Berkeley Schools Close In Advance Of Storm

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Both the Central Regional and Berkeley Township school districts will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 4 in advance of the coming snowstorm.

The Central Regional district includes the high school and middle school and the Hugh J. Boyd Elementary School in Seaside Heights.

The National Weather Service was calling for possible blizzard-like conditions into Thursday, so officials erred on the side of caution and announced the closing late Wednesday afternoon.
