Central Regional School Board Gives Parlapanides A New Five-Year Contract
Parlapanides, a Central Regional graduate himself, as been at the helm for 10 years.

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Central Regional school district Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides is good to go at the district has presided over for many years.
The Board of Education on Thursday night voted 6 to 0 to approve another five-year contract for Parlapanides, who is also a Central Regional graduate.
His salary will be frozen at $180,000 a year. Of that amount, $15,000 will be paid by the Seaside Heights Elementary School for his salary. Parlapanides has also served as the Seaside Heights superintendent for several years.

Central Regional also gets $65,000 in administrative fees from Seaside Heights, he said.
"I gave Central my first five years of shared service revenue, which was $50,000," Parlapanides said.

Board members Denise Pavone-Wilson and Ralph Frulio abstained. Board member Louis Tuminaro was absent.
