Combo Dollar Tree, Family Dollar To Open In Bayville
The store, the first of its kind in Ocean County, expands on the area of an existing Dollar Tree in Bayville Commons.

BAYVILLE, NJ — Something new is coming this month to Bayville. A combination Dollar Tree and Family Dollar is set to open in Bayville Commons on Route 9.
This duo is the first of its kind in Ocean County, according to real estate brokerage company R.J. Brunelli & Co.
The store is expected to open at the end of October, per reports, though Patch could not confirm an official opening date.

The store will take the place of the existing Dollar Tree and demolished a wall between to use space where Rite Aid once stood, making a 21,642-square-foot store, R.J. Brunelli said. It will co-anchor the plaza with Goodwill and Retro Fitness.
Dollar Tree, the parent company of the store and Family Dollar, is expanding the combo stores countrywide. The Bayville location is one of 400 planned to open in 2022.

Combo stores bring both brands under one roof. It will offer merchandise you often see in both stores, like party supplies and seasonal decorations in the Dollar Tree section, along with food and supplies in the Family Dollar part.
Family Dollar was previously located in Berkeley Shopping Plaza by Shop Rite, but closed a few years back.
