Der Wunder Wiener Sets Grand Re-Opening Dates In Bayville
After years of waiting, Bayville is finally going to get their favorite Italian hot dogs as early as this weekend, according to a report.

BERKELEY, NJ — After years of waiting, it seemed like Der Wunder Wiener would finally make its grand reentry to Bayville over the summer. But that opening never came, and the only news residents had was an apology sign sitting on the new stand.
However, the wait may finally come to an end. According to a report by WOBM, Wunder Wiener is "hoping to" hold its grand reopening on Sept. 16 and 17.
After being destroyed in a crash that severely injured owner Gerald LaCrosse, Wunder Wiener will now be located at 108 Atlantic City Blvd., in the vacant lot between Blackbeard's Cave and Fuller Marina.

In the years since, LaCrosse has hoped to reopen the popular stand, but his recovery and then the pandemic put a hold on that. Dealing with permits and the likes further complicated things.
If you want to chow down on Bayville's favorite Italian hot dogs and support a local business that has put years into rebuilding, make sure you stop by this weekend when Wunder Wiener hopefully makes its grand reentry to the Bayville community.
