DWI Crash Injures 3 In Berkeley Over Holiday Weekend: Police
Erica Noffsinger, 51, turned left onto Station Road and crashed into a Chevrolet, sending its three occupants to the hospital, police said.
BERKELEY, NJ — A drunken crash over Labor Day weekend in Bayville sent multiple people to the hospital, Berkeley police said.
The crash happened at about 10:45 p.m. on Friday, according to police. Erica Noffsinger, 51, was heading north on Route 9 in a Jeep Wrangler when she tried to turn left onto Station Road, police said.
A Chevrolet Equinox was driving south on Route 9 when Noffsinger entered the intersection, causing the cars to collide, police said.

Noffsinger was suspected of driving while intoxicated, police said. She was placed under arrest and taken to Community Medical Center where a blood draw was performed. Noffsinger was charged with three counts of assault by auto, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to yield at an intersection; she was released on a summons.
The three occupants of the Chevrolet were taken to Community Medical Center as well for minor injuries.
