"Flushing washes away naturally occurring minerals that might have deposited on insides of pipes over time,"
the Aqua release states. "The natural minerals are not unsafe, but they can cause the water to be discolored."
Customers are advised to store enough water for personal use before the flushing begins. Don't do laundry during the flushing time, because clothes could be stained from the minerals dislodged.
