Florist Celebrates 50 Years Of Business In Bayville
A Blossom Shop Florist has supported the Bayville community for five decades in happy and sad times with beautiful floral arrangements.

BERKELEY, NJ — For the past five decades, A Blossom Shop Florist has brought beauty and color to birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, well-wishes, funerals and more. To celebrate 50 years, the local florist is hosting an anniversary event at the store on March 13 at 2 p.m., featuring food, giveaways and special guests.
Founded in 1975 by Paul and Cathy Mulhern, A Blossom Shop Florist quickly became a local favorite, the shop shared in a news release. Originally located in front of the old Hometown Dairy on Atlantic City Boulevard, the shop found a new home in 1994, moving in with another Bayville landmark, Moore’s Farm Market. In 2004, ownership transitioned to their daughter, Stacey and Son-in-law Chuck Cofka, who has continued the family tradition.
Throughout their years in business, A Blossom Shop Florist has received numerous awards for both community service and excellence in the floral industry. The shop has been repeatedly been recognized as one of the best florists in Ocean County by Asbury Park Press readers.
