Grand Opening Set For New Puerto Rican Eatery In Bayville
Enjoy a taste of Puerto Rico when Bayville's newest restaurant, El Gordo Coqui, holds its ribbon cutting Saturday.

BERKELEY, NJ — Enjoy the delicious taste of Puerto Rico when Bayville's newest eatery, El Gordo Coqui, has its official grand opening on Oct. 26.
Head to the new restaurant at 217 Atlantic City Blvd. Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for ribbon cutting festivities.
"We're bringing the Lenchonera to Bayville!!" The restaurant said.

Celebrations include a fixed menu for $25, with kids under 12 eating free. The event is BYOB.
There will also be a pig roast, raffles, pincho stand and live music from DJ Luna.

El Gordo Coqui serves a variety of authentic Puerto Rican food, including rice and beans, empanadas and pernil.
The empanadas come in traditional flavors like meat or chicken, but also more unique options like buffalo chicken, Philly cheesesteak or sausage, peppers and onions.
