Jarrett Pidgeon Becomes Central Regional Football Coach

Jarrett Pidgeon was a Golden Eagles assistant coach for the past six seasons.

BERKELEY, NJ — Central Regional High School has a new head football coach. The Board of Education approved Jarrett Pidgeon on Thursday for the position.

Pidgeon succeeds Justin Fumando after spending six seasons as a Golden Eagles assistant coach.

Central Regional finished 3-6 last season and 3-8 in 2018. Previously, the Golden Eagles assembled four straight seasons with winning records.

Pidgeon served as Central Regional's defensive coordinator since 2016, according to Shore Sports Network. He was a standout linebacker for Southern Regional High School, graduating in 2009.
