Little Dog Missing In Berkeley May Have Been Stolen
A sweater belonging to Sophie, a nine-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, was found yesterday

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Sophie, a 9-year-old, Yorkshire terrier, has been missing from her home in the Holiday Heights section of the township.
Sophie weighs 8 pounds and was wearing identification when she went missing earlier this week. Sophie's sweater was found on Tuesday on Davenport Road, just a block or two away from her last last confirmed sighting on the corner of Trent Drive and Prince Charles Drive in the Holiday Heights section of Berkeley Township, according to a post on Lost Dog Search and Rescue Facebook page.
"That leads us to believe that she was picked up by someone," according to the post. "At the time she was wearing ID, so we are asking people to please let us know if you see someone that never had a dog before and no has a 9-year-old Yorkie that resembles the picture posted.".
