Loose Goat Pays A Visit To Bayville This Morning

Animal's owner has been located.

BAYVILLE, NJ - The loose animal found on Serpentine Drive East this morning was not your average dog or cat. It was a goat.

The goat was found on Serpentine Drive East, said resident Carlee Harrison, who checked out possible owners and was on her way to take her to Berkeley Animal Control.

"I didn't think she crossed Route 9," Harrison wrote on the Bayville...Best Place on Earth Facebook page. "We checked with the houses on that side that we knew had goats. Not theirs."

Harrison was able to get the goat into her truck and was planning to take her to Berkeley Animal Control, then found out animal control already aware of the missing animal. The owners had only had her for two days, Harrison said.

The goat even paid a visit to a bus stop in the area, Harrison said.
