Mostly Sunny Until 2 P.M At Ocean County Beaches, Then Skies Will Turn Cloudy
There's a low risk of rip currents today.

The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies early today, but the clouds will roll in by 2 p.m.
Highs will be in the lower 80s. Winds will be from the east at 5 to 10 miles per hour. The ultraviolet index is an 8, which the NWS considers very high. There is no lightning threat.
There's a low risk of rip currents today. But rips are always possible, especially near jetties and other structures. Always swim on a guarded beach and never swim alone or at night. The NWS suggests you bring a flotation device with you when heading into the surf.

Waves will be around three feet high, with southeasterly swells around three feet. The ocean water temperature has warmed up to 76 degrees.
Low tide at Barnegat Inlet rolled in at 7:14 a.m. High tide will arrive at 12:53 p.m, followed by another low tide at 8:08 p.m.
