Rich's Ice Cream (multiple locations)
With locations in Toms River, Lanoka Harbor and Manahawkin, Rich's is a staple of Ocean County. The Gutwein family takes pride in their work and it's obvious - you'll even see the family at any of their locations. There's a reason Lacey Patch readers previously voted this as their favorite. They have 24 hard flavors daily and three rotating new flavors. But you have to try their famous Richie bars.

Whether you want your traditional vanilla or something a little different (caramel cheddar, anyone?) Miss Mindy's has you covered. This spot is always experimenting with new, interesting flavors. Mrs. Walker's Ice Cream (multiple locations)
Stop by in Forked River, Toms River or Lakehurst for some delicious homemade ice cream. You might have to wait in line but it's worth it. Along with daily flavors like s'mores, chocolate peanut butter and vanilla fudge, they have a rotating selection of new flavors. Their ice cream cakes are the perfect birthday treat, too.

But you can try it in ice cream form here. They also have vegan and non-dairy flavors, and boast being allergy-friendly, so everyone can enjoy something. Don't miss their milky buns - ice cream stuffed in a freshly baked donut.
