Check Out Bayville's Newest Deli

BERKELEY, NJ — A new deli and Italian market has opened in Berkeley Township.

Fat Sal's Italian Specialties is now open at 791 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville - where Cucina Fresca was previously located before it was shut down by the Department of Labor earlier this year.

The new spot's website promises to "bring the flavors of Italy to Bayville."

On its Facebook page, the market says it offers imported specialties and fresh deli items.

They also have a menu of signature subs posted. It has the usuals you would expect like Italian and chicken parm subs, along with unique creations like the Sweet Caroline (maple honey turkey, lacey swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard) and the Chicken Fat Sal's (chicken cutlet, store-made mozzarella and roasted peppers).

You can also order meats and cheeses from the deli counter.

Fat Sal's is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit their official website or Facebook page.
