New Restaurant Could Replace Shuttered Bayville Spot
A meeting at the municipal building on Sept. 15 will discuss whether the property should be allowed to be a restaurant again.

BERKELEY, NJ — The future of the former Blackbeard's Cave is shaping up as a developer has shown interest in making what was once CB Huntington's into a restaurant again.
Prior to their Sept. 15 monthly meeting, the Township Council will act as a Redevelopment Entity to consider a request to reinstate the property's restaurant use, according to public notice.
The shuttered restaurant is surrounded by property that was purchased by the county to preserve permanently as open space.
