New Salon Offers Bayville Residents The Perfect Tan
No longer do you have to leave Bayville for a tan. Miseno Sun Spa, newly opened in Bayville, was created by locals, for locals.
BAYVILLE, NJ — Local lovers of spray tans and tanning beds no longer have to travel to Lacey or Toms River to get their fix. A new tanning salon has opened up right here in Bayville.
Miseno Sun Spa, opened by Bayville resident Kimberly Costagliola, wants to give residents a happy place. Costagliola's husband is from Italy, and he and their children are all dual citizens.
"When we go to Italy and we visit our family, we're always in the area of Miseno," Costagliola told Patch. Miseno is located in the Bay of Naples.

"That's our happy place. Like that's where we love to be," she said. "So we created this and we wanted everybody to come here and just be happy."
Miseno Sun Spa offers a variety of options for tanners, from their level one bed (which Costagliola says are comparable to other salons' level three) to their level five bed that gives a deep brown color. All of their beds are made by Ergoline, a leading manufacturer in tanning beds.

The spa also sells tanning lotions and other products.
Costagliola said that her salon is the first to open in Bayville in several years, and means that locals will not have to travel elsewhere to get a salon experience.
"I'm hoping to provide the town with a service that we didn't have before," she said.
At one point, a customer came in, raving about how happy she was to not have to travel outside of town for the experience.
"I'm so excited that you're here," she said to Costagliola.
The salon also has session packages and their monthly membership, called the Acqua Club. This membership offers special pricing and additional benefits.
Mostly, Costagliola said she is happy to be part of the community.
"I'm excited to meet new people and hear from residents," she said. "What other services they might like to see, or products that they want us to bring in."
Miseno Sun Spa is located in Bayville Commons, 333 Atlantic City Blvd, next to the Retro Fitness. The spa is open seven days a week. Visit their Facebook page for more information.
