Ocean County Beach Weather Report: Rough Seas, High Risk Of Lightning

And considering there are few guarded beaches left, it's a good day to stay out of the water.

There's a moderate risk of rip currents. Swim only on guarded beaches, if you can find any and never swim alone or at night. The NWS suggests you bring a flotation device with you in the water.

Waves will be around 5 feet high, with southerly swells around 4 feet. , The ocean water temperature is 73 degrees.
