Ocean County Beaches: Slowly Clearing Skies, Rip Current Risk Is Still Moderate
Waves will be choppy at 3 to 4 feet, so make sure you find a guarded beach

The weather over the Labor Day weekend won't be a total washout. The sun will slowly reappear as the day goes on.
It will turn partly sunny, but there's still a chance of showers. Highs today will only be in the upper 70s. Patchy fog in some areas will slowly dissipate over the morning. Winds will be from the southwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
There's still a moderate risk of rip currents. Always swim on a guarded beach. Never swim alone or at night. The National Weather Service suggests you bring a flotation device with you when entering the surf.
