Popular Italian Market Announces Reopening Date In Bayville

BERKELEY, NJ — Fans of a certain local Italian American market will be pleased to know that its brief closure is over.

Cucina Fresca will be reopening in its new, bigger location at 791 Rt. 9 in Bayville (the former OceanFirst Bank) this Saturday, Oct. 7.

Doors will open at 7 a.m., and the location isn't the only thing that's new.

The market will also be offering an expanded menu.

"Get ready for breakfast, lunch, dinner, lunch buffets, and brunch—all on the way!" Cucina Fresca wrote on Facebook.

The family-owned Italian American specialty market opened in its original location next to the dinosaur on Nov. 19, 2022.

The market offers a wide variety of meats, cheeses and grocery products, along with freshly-baked bread and sandwiches to purchase.
