"This is a huge one," acting Assistant Principal Michael Conforti said. "We'll have the greatest hits of our favorite scenes, the ones that got people the best. Our favorite zombies are coming back."

The event is so scary that Conforti says he may not watch. He and co-worker Melissa Gallagher and the school staff and PTA are coordinating the event.

The school is also planning to sell "I Survived the Ten Year Anniversary" T-shirts. The shirts will be $12. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the family of Timothy O'Brien. O'Brien and his wife were the founders of Emiliana's Hope Foundation, to bring awareness of pediatric cancer and to provide financial help to local families affected by cancer.

Emiliana died of osteosarcoma in 2016. Timothy died at 42 in August.

The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 19 and Oct 2o. Admission is $10. Parents who think their children might be too scared for the entire show can pay $2 on Oct. 20 for a preview from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. to tour the entire haunted house with the lights on and no actors, Gallagher said.
