Showers, Gusty Winds Expected In NJ Thanksgiving Week Storm

Forecasters say a coastal storm next week will bring rain and gusty winds to New Jersey, impacting holiday travel.

NEW JERSEY — If you were hoping for a dry week ahead of Thanksgiving in New Jersey, you might just have to wait until next year. Forecasters tracking the coastal storm that’s expected to develop in the Atlantic say it will likely bring heavy rain and gusty winds to the Garden State, which will likely impact holiday travel.

The storm could develop early Sunday evening heading into Monday, but is expected to remain off the coast of New Jersey, according to the National Weather Service.
