Route 9 Closed In Pine Beach Due To Downed Utility Poles: Sheriff

PINE BEACH, NJ — Route 9 remains closed in Pine Beach Tuesday morning due to downed utility poles, the Ocean County Sheriff's office said.

The sheriff's office put out an alert about the closure shortly before 10:30 p.m. Monday and said multiple poles were down.

The closure is from Washington Avenue to Motor Road, the sheriff's office said.

"Avoid the area if possible," the alert said.
