ShopRite To Host Job Fair In Berkeley

BERKELEY, NJ — ShopRite stores across the state, including the Bayville location, are holding job fairs on Jan. 20 for those looking for a new career.

The walk-up job fairs are taking place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. according to the Wakefern Food Corp., but in case of snow, the fair will be held on Jan. 27 at the same times.

Interested applicants can visit the store to speak with a hiring representative for an immediate interview. Full-time, part-time and management positions are available, depending on location.

Available positions include general, perishable, front end and stocking clerks, according to the corporation. These "feature flexible hours and a wide variety of cross training to provide employees with the knowledge, skills and tools to work as a team throughout the store," Wakefern said.

"Each job offers opportunities for career growth and plays an integral part in the operation of the entire Wakefern cooperative and its retail banners and stores," the corporation said. They also offer associates entertainment and tuition discounts, as well as scholarship opportunities.
